TENUTA MALBEC - Historic and elegant estate for sale in the countryside of Lucca, located in a slightly hilly position, from which you can enjoy the views on one of the most fascinating hamlets in the area of Lucca.
The estate for sale in Tuscany is surrounded with a fence and a second wall around the house, as was done in the past. The estate consists of the prestigious late 19th century manor houses, an annex, a beautiful salt pool and about seven hectares of land, where there is also an ancient hunting lodge in the woods.
From the external gate, through the driveway you pass a second gate where the wall delimits the manor house. The villa, of about 1100 square meters, is surrounded by large green spaces where you find the area dedicated to the swimming pool, the annex of about 140 square meters, the farm and garage buildings of about 110 square meters, and the spacious parking lot. In the garden there are terraces, pergolas, fountains, furnished corners with tables where one can relax in the shade of the plants.
The luxury villa, for sale in Tuscany, maintains its authenticity unaltered in the atmosphere and finishes typical from Lucca, such as the refined grit flooring on the ground floor and the frescoes on the high ceilings.
The noble entrance, typical of the historic villas of Lucca, with a staircase on a portico, opens onto a spacious hall connected to the bright living room overlooking the garden. The living room has, on one side the large dining room with marble fireplace joined to the functional kitchen, also equipped with a fireplace and with direct access to the garden.
This floor is completed by a bedroom, a study, a bathroom and an important stairwell.
Through the marble staircase with wrought iron railings, we reach the first floor where the classic central hall with terrace is located, around which there are the bright and spacious double bedrooms, all with parquet flooring, and three bathrooms
On the second floor there are the large rooms of the attic, mostly of generous height, characterized by exposed beams and original floors in ancient cement tiles, these spaces that could be recovered and used as additional habitable environments.
As in any historic manor house, we find an entire zone that in ancient times was intended for servants which is accessed by two entrances, the first independent and the other by the kitchen of the villa on the ground floor. Also, in this area, other service rooms are located on ground floor, such as the laundry room and pantry, while on the first floor, that you can reach with a service staircase, there is an independent staff apartment, consisting of a kitchen with fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
With access from the outside, you reach the basement where you have one of the jewels of this elegant estate for sale in Lucca: the cellar. The latter, famous for being the first mechanized winery in Italy, still retains the ancient machinery and the splendid oak barrels built directly inside it and perfectly maintained.
At the border of the lot, separated by a courtyard, you find the annex, of about 140 square meters, developed on two levels and consisting of a large living room, a double kitchen, two double bedrooms and three bathrooms. The style is typical of Tuscany as the ceilings are in beams and bricks and the floors in terracotta. Next to the annex there are a wood oven and various garages.
Leaving the perimeter of the historic boundary wall, you head towards the land, partly flat, partly vineyard and partly olive grove, until you climb the high and wooded hill. Here there is a hunting lodge where there is a kitchen with roof terrace, from which you can enjoy the view of the hills that separate Lucca from Pisa and Camaiore.
