Bacolet Bay Resort Spa in Grenada a Caribbean property pre release opportunity
Comments (8)
Bacolet Bay Resort & Spa on the island of Grenada is a brand new 5 star opportunity we are marketing pre-launch prior to this off plan property development releasing globally in January 2007.
This tiny Isle of Spice as Grenada’s known, just 18 miles by 24, lies on the most southerly
tip of the Windward Islands. A heady cocktail of banana trees, tropical flowers, pungent spice plantations, lofty mountains and 80 miles of creamy white beaches set against azure waters.
Small but perfectly formed there is plenty to see and do. Enjoy a wander round the colourful street markets, a hike along a nature trail or a boat trip to discover one of Grenada’s 65 secluded bays. Take a day tour around a spice factory, play a morning round of golf or simply sup a tall rum punch under a shady palm.
Grenada property prices are a fraction of established neighbours St Vincent, Barbados and St Lucia partly due to the simple shortage of desirable holiday property available for investment, something the development of Bacolet Bay aims to offer. Comments (2)
Thursday this week saw a return of the Best & Worst Places to Live in the UK for 2006 on Channel Four. As promised, following on from yesterday’s mention of Phil & Sofie’s (this year) 10 Worst places to call home I have detailed Phil and Sofie’s verdicts on the ten Best places to live in the UK.
Contrary to my prediction of a home counties postcode sweeping the board, as it turns out Winchester came out on top, so it seems anyone whose anyone is/should be enjoying ‘vibrant’ living in Winchester these days???!!!
I do have to say that the program provides a cursory look at the UK property map as well as a ‘To Do List’ for the government in addressing some of UK society’s most pressing issues. The top 10 may have ticked all the boxes for a next to perfect life Continue reading ‘Channel Four Best and Worst Places to Live 2006 cont.’

Sama Dubai Snap Poll shows Dubai Property Outshines China and India
Comments (1)The real-estate sectors of India and China continue to grow at a blistering pace and the ongoing economic prosperity has naturally had a knock-on effect on these countries real-estate markets. However, they are yet to challenge rival market known collectively as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC); the Persian Gulf region and in particular Dubai has been the real power house so far in terms of economic development growth.
Real estate developer Sama Dubai, a subsidiary of Dubai Holdings, recently conducted a
straw poll at September’s recent prestigious MIPIM Asia 2006 property expo in Hong Kong. Surveying 100 key real estate decision makers, when balancing risk against returns, 58% opted for the GCC, in particular Dubai, over China and India. Joe Calzaghe makes the Right Move Abroad to Apollon Holiday Village
Comments (2)It seems these days that everyone is getting in on the overseas property investment act.
Boxer Joe Calzaghe recently invested in not one but two apartments off plan. Firstly, Bansko Royal Towers which Nubricks featured last week, which he chose due to its proximity to Bansko’s ski gondola which is all important when it comes to renting and resale. Joe purchased through The Right Move Abroad, selecting a one bedroom apartment at 67,200 euros it will complete fully furnished and be ready to rent 1st March next year in time to catch a portion of the 2007 ski season. His plan is to let his Bansko apartment out, through his research Joe feels it has plenty of year round potential as a ski resort in winter with golfing and nature pursuits in the summer. He purchased on the basis that the Bansko Royal Towers project would yield far better returns long-term, then purchasing a second property in UK. “There are no real bargains to be had in the UK unlike the Eastern European countries, though I wish I’d bought five years ago when prices were even cheaper!” said Joe.
