Times maybe tough but if you a spare £100 million and are looking for that ultimate hideaway look no further… enter Wally Island Your Personal Floating Residence.
The latest trend to hit the yachting industry is floating private residences where £100 million will get you your own private holiday resort complete with tennis court, pool, five accommodation levels, dining room, library, cinema, spa and fitness area, not to mention an array of shrubs and flowers creating your very own garden area to relax in. The designers of WallyIsland, Monaco based Wally Yachts, have come up with a blue print for a 325 feet gigayacht which will have all of the above and more!

Given the vessel weighs over 2,700 tons, you might be forgiven for thinking that any cruise will be a shortish affair, well you would be mistaken. The fuel tanks of this floating island should allow you to sufficient time to cruise around your favourite waters for anywhere up to 5 years! There is also more than enough space for friends and family with sleeping quarters for 40 crew and 24 guests on this dream boat as well as two 45 feet motor yachts and two 27 feet sailing yachts for those quick trips to shore.

Looking at the drawings for this luxury floating holiday home makes the Residensea luxury floating apartments seem a bargain. The images by no means do WallyIsland justice and it is difficult to put into words exactly how it looks and what it can offer, but it certainly does offer the trip of a lifetime. No expense has been spared on the decor, with a 1,000 square feet teak deck offering the perfect finish to what has to be the ultimate holiday home.

The WallyIsland yacht has already received a great deal of interest with hopes that a buyer will be announced fairly soon, but experts are predicting that this will be the start of a whole new era in the yachting industry which will see bigger and better vessels being designed over the coming years.
Watch out holiday homes abroad, make way for holiday homes at sea !

For such a high-end yacht, they should’ve paid someone to do a more realistic rendering!

I’m in the mega-yacht business and no owner of whom I’ve ever heard would have the monstrosity pictured in the computer graphic. I think this was an April fools joke a day late and about a $100M over priced.

Amazing. Another bit of excess for the uber-rich. Hey, when you’ve got money, why not enjoy it! One can never have enough toys, even $100 million dollar ones.
Warm Regards,
Rob
