Dubai Flights From New Luxury Silverjet Airline

If travelling in absolute style is your preference, you’ll be pleased to know that luxury airline Silverjet has added a second international destination to its exclusive route map. Luton based Silverjet began offering daily direct flights from the UK to Dubai this month, selecting the Middle Eastern playground as a natural complement to its popular New York service.
Specialising in discreet, luxury air travel, Silverjet fly ‘one-class’ 767s, with no more than 100 passengers on board, meaning that no expense is spared, the in-flight menu crafted by top London restaurant Le Caprice, private check in – you get the idea. However, the new service has nonetheless been described as a landmark step forward for aviation in the UAE, as it is the first time a premium carrier has departed from Dubai Airport’s Executive Terminal.
British Luxury airline Silverjet recently secured an extra £22 million in investments to help it stay in business, according to news reports. The exclusive carrier will use the funding to develop an exclusive arrival facility at London’s Luton Airport, to purchase two extended range Boeing 767s from Thomsonfly, which will be delivered in March 2008, and to further strengthen its balance sheets.
Options for travelling to and from Dubai have now become as blingtastic as life in the city itself and although the new service is being targeted towards a spectacularly niche market, it represents improvement to the accessibility of the region and the spectrum of visitors this record-breaking emirate is attracting. According to the recent Dubai Property Exhibition, the city has attracted more than 250,000 new residents, making it the fastest growing conurbation in the world.
