Dubai’s property marketers just keep on breaking records having already garnered the title of being home to the world’s largest man-made island, Palm Deira, the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Dubai, yesterday the property marketing in the emirate took a giant step forward adding another world record to their previous accolades, setting the world record for the largest advertising banner, creating a whole new category “world record for banner size” in tow.
This mega advertising stunt from Dubai developer Sorouh Real Estate is the size of two football pitches but most importantly is viewed from air as passengers fly into Dubai Airport for landing and is being used as a branding exercise for the next 4 months.
Here at Nubricks we believe this is yet another example of Dubai’s marketing mastery, which puts it head and shoulders above its overseas competitors, ten years ago Dubai was a Middle Eastern outpost and today it has morphed into one of the world’s tourism extravaganzas.

Is it just me, or does the fact that the Sheik has so much power over all that goes on in Dubai not bother anyone?
Yes,I understand that they have to ensure that Dubai will prosper after the oil runs out (not gonna happen any time soon) but I just find the fact that everything is happening so fast and so quickly.

I guess record breaking is the name of the game in Dubai; it is becoming a habit now, the best, the biggest, the tallest …. The est at the end of each word.
New projects should start in Dubai but with a view to complete them as soon as possible.
So many new huge and ambitious projects are starting in Dubai but they are not being completed in time or they are not being finished at all. Construction companies in Dubai should not only look to fill their pockets but they should complete the projects so that the image of Dubai does not suffer.
