		<description>Maceio is a very attractive place however as noted the difficulty of access compared to other cities such as Rio, Salvador, Recife, Forteleza and Natal means it will be less attractive to the international visitor.


The nightlife is also limited however it does have excellent hotels and restaurants (eg Melia) on the main beachfront in the city thought rates are much higher than Natal or other cities.

We expect once international tourism grows, interest will grow

It is less safe than Natal according to Government statistics and this would probably deter many people.

Capital appreciation will probably lag behind established areas.</description>

		<description>I know Maceio very well. Nice place even though a dead town when it comes to nightlife.

The coastline also is nice even though beaches are quite narrow compared to the Natal beaches.

The most negative thing about Maceio is that the city recieves very few international flights, and it is even very hard to get domestic flights to Natal, which leaves tourists in the painful situation of waiting for a very LONG time on connecting airports....not a very good scenario for attracting property investors......

Maybe in ten years it will be ok...but I rather invest in Natal.</description>
