I took risk and did this in an area which was then suffering from political uncertainty. These houses presently give me a 10%+ annual yield and have trebbled in capital value. Farming is in almost terminal decline. I am comfortable, with no interest in further investment - ''A wise man knows when he has enough and can content himself'' - my old man always claimed - and he was right.
