Sadly I don&#039;t think the development will be quite ready in time for your trip but should be by the summer months.
Best bet in the first instance is to contact the developer at Cape Verde Solutions on 01225 33 66 07 (ask for Nick, Mark or Hilary) to see if they can assist or alternatively there&#039;s a great pensione style hotel called Espace Por do Sol 10 mins walk down the road. Run by Xisto Almeida, an extremely helpful English-speaking local man and ex politician, it has it&#039;s own swimming pool, has a great restaurant and is right on the sea with a little private beach. He was building some self-catering accommodation a few years back so these may well be ready by now. I don&#039;t have his contact details to hand but TOPA (The Overseas Property Agency, ask for Steve) sends folk there regularly so will be able to help, or of course there&#039;s the internet.
I have some images of Xisto&#039;s place so if you contact me I&#039;ll email them to you if you want.

		<description>I agree with Marco&#039;s comments. There has been very little progress in the Cape Verde market. I bought 3 years ago on a development in Sal and they have only just turned the 1st bit of land! There seems to of been a few developments within Santiago and Sal that have not given value for money but Vila Jardins seems to of delivered.</description>
