I am looking for investors who paid down payments to Profile Properties for Dubai Waterfront Zero Five Zero property. Nobody answers to us and Profile directors are nowhere to be found. Also two ladies by the names of Diana and Daphne Fernandes who took our money are not responding. I paid almost half a million Dirhams to these people in 2008 and I really don’t know what to do ? This property will not be built and we were told that our money is secure in escrow accounts. If anyone out there has similar situation, please contact me.
I paid 20% for an apartment in Spring 2008, with Irfan Khoda from Profile Properties. It is now 2 years and i’ve heard nothing.
Profile claim they were just the sales agents, and the developer is Larionovo developments. Larionovo (Irish firm) went bust.
I spoke to their director Andrew Brett in june 2009.
He claimed that, although Larionovo was involved in ZeroFiveZero, it had been taken over at a management level by the Habib Brothers.
He gave me an email address to which he suggested i write:

He claimed asif habib was 10% holder in the original project, and that himself and business partner Keane had resigned from board.
He claimed that the ESCROW accounts should be secure, and that the ONLY debits that would have been taken would have been:
architects fees
marketing 5% of total escrow fund
no salaries or dividends
and that they sold 69 apartments.

As is so common with Dubai developments investors have been left blind and all those closely involved (e.g Brett) have tried to distance themselves and wash their hands.
I have written letters to the Dubai Islamic Bank, and to RERA to try to check the balance on the ESCROW account, of course i haven’t had a reply.
Short of appointing lawyers and private investigators i am at a loss.
But i will not let the matter rest and allow the Directors of Zero Five Zero to walk away with my cash (£100,000).
I also paid half a million Dirhams (AED 500,000) for one unit in Waterfront Zero Five Zero in July 2008 and nobody seems to be responsible. It is a total mess and we are in contact with the other investors to take legal action against those who received our money and now are washing their hands. The fact that our money may not be kept in the escrow account is really terrifying. Dubai Islamic Bank is the bank holding the escrow account and they should be held responsible if our deposits are gone. This story will not end in here and we will definitely carry on all the legal actions possible to get back our hard earned cash.

I have read comments made by Jack cresswell and Amir Heshmati. I am also investor in the above mentioned project. Unfortunately we are cheated by profile.I thought I am safe by investing with Dubai Approved Developers and Escrow Account. I was on the phone whole year talking to Andrew Brett. Some time he was telling me the project will be cancelled and investors will get their money back. Now AA holding has taken over and they are saying they will transfer all the investors to completed project. How they will do it I don’t understand.
